We found this place by accident and that was most fortuitous. This place makes a great lobster roll. They keep it simple - lobster, roll and not much else. But the lobsters came right off the boat that was unloading them while we were there. If you are in the area, it is definitely worth the drive. They also have some great pies made by someone up the road. If you have the room, you should try a piece.

We had a great experience at Miller's! Lovely outdoor seating (your only option) and fresh lobster, mussels, corn, slaw, and seafood chowder...it was all, DELICIOUS! Go - you will not be disappointed. Don't expect fancy, expect delicious -

When I went on my Maine vacation, I knew a visit to a lobster pound was an absolute requirement. But which one? I was staying in Rockport, and a friend had recommended another pound in Belfast. I knew about Miller's thanks to Yelp reviewers, and asked a local for a recommendation - which was "hands down Miller's". SO GLAD WE WENT! Wow did it blow away my expectations. The service was extraordinary; when they served me a 1 lb lobster instead of the 1.5 lber I ordered, they gave me both for no extra charge! The setting was gorgeous (yes, it is a little "tucked away" but it's worth the journey!). The water views were just what was needed for a Maine experience! Most importantly, however, the lobsters were fresh and amazingly delicious. I've had my fair share of Maine lobster, but this was the best yet. Hardly needed butter it was so flavorful. Do be warned that they stop serving at 7. But relax about payment, because they accept plastic now. Do yourself a favor and go.

I have been going to Miller's for years. There are quite a few places like Miller's but the atmosphere, basically the view, is so exceptional that it is worth a visit. You sit at a picnic table on a pier-deck where the lobster boats come in. On one side is the mouth of a river inlet looking inland while on the other side is a cove and then the open ocean with islands with tall pines.(Next time I go I'll take a few pictures). Also, they have an unadvertised and unposted deal that you have to ask for: the $9.99 special which includes a small soft shell lobster, corn on the cob and a bag of chips. They take pride in there pies. I've had better but they're not bad. They usually have a wide variety of them. Steamed mussels, clams as well are good. Oh yes, they close at 7pm so you have to make sure you get there by that time.

If you want Lobster from Maine, Miller's will provide to you the freshest of fresh. Straight from the sea (and sitting on the edge of the sea), you'll get lobster that was just caught, and cooked on site. Even though lobster is expensive, this place has good prices. The view is great, and peaceful. The service is great. It's an outdoor place that has a tent. I want to come back to this place.

Miller's is hidden among a maze of streets/ highways and farms. Get good directions so you can find one of the better lobster pounds. Miller's is a true lobster pound. Tanks of lobster house lobsters of various sizes and you select your dinner, add a side or two (corn or coleslaw), and get prepared for fresh and tender lobster. Drinks come out of a Pepsi machine or you can buy beer / wine from them. This is a change and they are no longer BYOB. Selection was limited but not too bad. Didn't check out the wine list. They take care you service wise for a lobster pound but don't expect your own personal waiter. ( Nor should you at any lobster pound). Miller's is CASH ONLY! Dinner was about 58 dollars for two 1.25lbs lobster dinners with corn/slaw and two beers. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely go back. They stop serving at 7

Great little place. Definitely worth the drive from Rockport. It's close enough to go to and far enough away to weed out the crowds. Service was attentive and friendly and the food was great! we had lobster, steamers and corn and it was all fantastic. And the view was terrific. Even the parking lot was scenic. Make the pilgrimage and be sure to tell them Peter Rollins sent you.

Good lobster, the best in the area. I've eaten at Millers several times and it's always been very fresh with great service. That's my picture of my three pound lobster before enjoying

Prices have gone up but Miller's remains a true gem in our eyes. Our tradition is to visit Miller's both ways on our visit to Acadia National Park. This year, we happened to be their first customer of the season which is a neat distinction to have. It wasn't totally by chance as we arranged our schedule so we could visit on both legs of our drive. So a lobster is a lobster you might say. That's true. However, Miller's has all the other intangibles. - A great secluded location, thus no crowds (at least we've never encountered one) - A great view of the bay, with both covered and uncovered seating - Family operated and super friendly and attentive staff. They come to check on you often so great for novices. - Very clean eating area - a huge plus - Right on dock so can see lobster boats return with their catch Today, while wife and I were tackling our lobsters and clams, the boys hung out by the dock eating their grilled cheese and watching half a dozen boats unload their catch. While they haven't developed the same appreciation for lobsters as the grownups, they have developed the same appreciation for Miller's.

There are countless of this genre of informal dockside seafood establishments in Maine, but Miller's is my very favorite. It's off the beaten path so none of the confusion or crowds that many of the others have. The food was fresh, the lobster and crab meat rolls were not hoked up with fillers, or even mayo though Miracle-Whip is available for the asking. Lobster was not overcooked, a common flaw in other places. The seafood chowder was hot and delicious, and the staff was attentive and friendly. I also had mussels as an appetizer for our table. Tables were very clean, in a covered area and an open area. Beer and wine are available. The 8-year old with us liked looking at the lobsters in the pound. The location is beautiful, at the confluence of two tidal inlets with lots of nearby islands. Very quiet. About 15 minutes off Route 1 and definitely worth the detour.

You eat in a shaded pavilion on the dock where your lobster has landed. Start with seafood chowder, a bit spendy at 12.50 but just enough for two to share. Light, chock full of seafood, fish and potatoes. Steamers are de rigeur, sweet and fresh, they don't need butter, and are clean enough that you could skip the broth. And then the lobster, as fresh and clean as it gets. Corn on the cob boiled in its de-silked husk is surprisingly good, dipped in the drawn butter from the lobster. If you have room, tri-berry pie from the Schoolhouse Bakery. For me the quintessential coastal Maine dining experience,

Great place with a great view. Off the beaten path and worth the trip for the authentic grub. Loved the steamers, soft shell lobsters which are way better thank the hard shell. Not a wide selection of sodas or other drinks but who cares when you're stuffing your face with amazing lobster. Prepare to get messy!

Excellent lobster - some of the best I have ever had. Perfectly steamed. Had the twin. Was in heaven.

Absolutely hands down the best lobster roll I've ever eaten in Maine or anywhere. I advise any and all New York restaurant owners with lobster rolls on the menu to visit Miller's to learn how to make the perfect roll.

We had a great experience At Millers today. We had the lobster rolls and a couple of cold beers. Lobster was sweet and delicious and generous portion. Service was friendly and attentive. The only reason they don't get 5 stars was due to lobster meat being chopped very small and they use Miracle whip instead of Hellmans. We will go back!

Great food, great view, super attentive and friendly staff. The lobster, steamers, and lobster roll were all fabulous. Minus one star for their (lack of) beer selection.
